Press Release Soaring!

After speaking with the resident Angel, Jhill, I have been informed that the Press Releases are in flight!  They began taking off on Monday and are like a domino affect as each day passes.  She has found new sources to mail the Press Release to, and will continue to send them until all contacts are exhausted!  If you have any ideas as to newspapers, magazines, or any sort of press that we might possibley not have thought of, please be sure to contact us!!  GH has lost its luster.  No longer does it shine and brighten our days.  We want Genie back home!!  The Spencer/Cassadine children need their Mother!!  There is so much chemistry between Genie and her onscreen children that is going to waste by not having her there!! The Spencer name and Legacy must continue with Luke and Laura to take it full circle!!!

Get on the runway - it's time for Angels to take flight again!

Today began the sending out of the press release posted previously.  As that take flights, it is time for a new focus.  Angels are to start flying to Brian Frons' NYC office beginning Friday, August 10th!  Get on the runway, rev those engines and get ready to take off to drop Angels into Frons' lap!! Let's do it!!  Never give up, never give in!!  The fans are speaking and cannot be silenced until our Angel has been returned to us!!!

Francis is clearly thrilled to be back in the GH fold. Two years ago, she contacted the soap to see whether she could return but was told there was no room for her.

So she settled with her husband and two children in Belfast, Maine, and in July opened an interior design store. "It took a couple of years to adjust that (GH) was no longer part of my life," she says softly. "I had moved on and didn't dwell on things related to the show, because it was painful. Then out of the blue, the phone rang.

Francis would prefer Laura's return to last longer. "I'd like nothing better than to have my job back," she says. "In my heart, I absolutely would just love to come back."

But this time, budgetary concerns may spoil Luke and Laura's happiness. Farren-Phelps, who holds the purse strings, says, "We would love to have Genie with us, but we have to be able to afford it."

One thing Geary and Francis will not be denied: allowing their characters to one day head off into the sunset together.

"Oh, I want that," Francis whispers. "That's what everybody wants."

"They have to," Geary agrees. "It's the only way to conclude this story."

Angels Flew Today!

Angels flew through the sky today, from state to state as they set off to reach their final destination in LA.  There was a whirlwind of clouds as those Angels broke out in flight.  They will make their descent into the laps of TPTB by the first of next week.  The Press Release will take flight Monday and make it's way from newspapers to magazines.  By the end of next week Angels will have made their way around to any ear that will listen.  We will be heard and we will not be silenced!!  We want our Angel to return to her fold where she rightfully deserves to be.  Fairness and equality must prevail!!  Don't stop the letter writing, keep sending those Angels!!

Almost time for lift-off!

Alrighty folks.. it's Wednesday.. which means we are only 2 days away from yet another Angel lift-off!! Time to moisten that tongue for stamp-licking, flex those fingers for address writing and work out those wrists for letter dropping!!  Time for a whole new wave of Angels to fly into the offices of TPTB, soap mags and anyone else that we might benefit from getting involved!  Angels are taking flight!!!

A Message from one of our Angels!
ANGELS, Listen one and all! It is time for us to make our voices HEARD in a way that they understand...VOLUME!!!

Tony and Genie have spoken. They want to be on this show together. Tony has said that he does not want to come back to a story that has Luke at odds with Scotty over custody of a catatonic woman in a wig. He doesn't want Luke to try and separate Lulu from Logan. He doesn't even think that that is in character. He wants Genie back. He knows that their are more chapters to the LnL story. That is what he wants to play. Are we going to let this man down? Genie has bared her soul in the media. She has let us know how much she wants to return to the role that she poured her soul into. She wants to come back!!! She is getting herself ready. Are we going to let HER down? I think of the countless hours of enjoyment that these two have given us. I remember the joy of seeing them together in these roles in scenes that touched my heart for over the last 30 years.

It is now or NEVER!!!

There are 3 people standing in the way of what we want...Jill Phelps, Brian Frons, and Anne Sweeney.

Here is what I am suggesting. Let's get ready for this Friday. Let each of us plan to send out 100 pieces of snail mail. We have no way of knowing how many people will do this. Think of it this way...if 50 people do this it is 5,000. If 1,000 do this, it is 100,000. Think of a tsunami of mail...a whole caravan of mail trucks pulling up to their offices...hundreds of little interns called in just to sort it. Think of floors sagging from the weight of it!!!! Think of the impact on those bean counters over there who must report to someone about what this all means.

Compose a brief letter on the computer in a large font so that they can read it without glasses. Tell them what you want and that you will no longer watch GH if they don't give us back Genie Francis and Luke and Laura. We will accept nothing less. Sign it "Angels for Genie." Angel stickers are lovely but probably not even necessary at this point.

Send this post to every site you visit. Get the word out that Friday is mailing day, SO GET READY!!! Soon Jhill's press release will hit the media. We want Mr. Frons to feel compelled to make some sort of public statement to us... the fans who support this show. We want that statement within the next 2 weeks. We will NOT go quietly into the night. We are the people who make their jobs possible. LISTEN TO OUR CLARION CALL, ABC. WE ARE COMING!!!!! FLY, ANGELS, FLY!!!!!!! Let's let them hear the flapping of our wings...BIG TIME!!!!

Now, on to a cool MySpace Site: Operation Genie's Angels dedicated to getting Genie back on GH! I firmly believe in the power of fan grass-roots movements. They don't always work--but you can always try. One of the best ways to get/keep your fave on GH is to write a fan letter (addressed to them) right at the studio.
